Located in the heart of the cloud forest, Paraíso Quetzal Lodge is a natural sanctuary protecting 80 hectares of extraordinary biodiversity. Among ancient oak trees, crystal-clear rivers, four waterfalls, and millenary fossil remains, five scenic trails invite exploration, wonder, and deep connection with nature.

This privileged environment, home to the magnificent resplendent quetzal, offers visitors an immersive experience within one of Costa Rica’s most fragile and valuable ecosystems. Founded in 2005 by the Serrano Salazar family, the lodge was born from a dream toa placeconservation, hospitality, and adventure coexist in perfect harmony.

Inspired by the majesty of the cloud forest, the family opened their home to those who share their love for wildlife and sustainable tourism. Since then, Paraíso Quetzal Lodge has grown with a steadfast commitment to preserving the environment, supporting the local community, and offering every guest an authentic, enriching, and transformative experience.
